Buy Or Sell A Home and Help The Local Humane Society!

A story like this couldn’t have come at a better time!  With Thanksgiving just a few days away and temperatures starting to fall, we got a call from an agent showing one of our listings to let us know that someone had broken in and stolen the copper pipes from the basement.

We immediately went to the vacant home in order to assess the damage, so imagine our surprise when we got there and found this:

We’re very happy to say that the kittens are happy and healthy right now, and will be available for adoption soon!

It’s heartbreaking to think that anyone would do something like this, and with the Fur-Ever Home Initiative, we hope to prevent things like this from happening in the future.

The Fur-Ever Home Initiative

By teaming up with local Humane Society animal shelters and promising to donate up to $500 for every home we buy or sell, we hope to raise $100,000 for animals in need in the coming year.

Some of the things this money will be used for include vaccination clinics, spay/neuter programs, boarding expenses, and food and supplies for rescued animals.  It takes about $500 to rescue one more animal, so the math is simple – for every home we buy or sell, we can save another pet and help it find a great home!  And so, when we realize our goal of $100,000, we will save 200 animals next year!

Wondering how you can help?  Here are a few things you can do:

• Whom do you know who may want to buy or sell a home in the next year?  Let us know!

• Please forward this post to friends, family, co-workers, or anyone who may be interested in
helping promote our cause.

• Watch our announcement video here, and then share it with others!

Every day, so many animals are abused or abandoned and left with no hope.  We want to change that, and we hope you do, too.  Please help us meet our goal to save 200 animals in the coming year!

If you or anyone you know is thinking of buying or selling a home in the next year, CALL US!  Please help us give local pets the second chance they deserve!
