Day 158: The Fairy & Gnome Home Festival & Tour at Annmarie Arts Center

Fairy & Gnome Home Festival & Tour
Saturday, July 2, 9am-Noon
$5 for adults (ages 12 & up); $4 for participating children (ages 11 & under); $4 for members
Regular admission fees will apply to non-participating guests

The festival coincides with Fairies in the Garden, our magical summer exhibit of 45 fabulous handmade fairy and gnomes homes! The festival will feature the world’s first Fairy Obstacle Course for Kids, a playful area where young guests can climb, explore, build, and dream with a variety of creative toys and props.

Guests will also be able to build their own fairy houses and gnomes homes and decorate their own wands and swords. In the beautiful Council Ring, there will be music and storytime scheduled throughout the day. And no festival would be complete without face painting and costumes! Food and drinks will be available as well!


Activities include:

–The Fairy Obstacle Course for Kids

–Dress Up Tours of the fairy house & gnome home exhibit

–Build a fairy wand, gnome sword, and more!

–Fantasy facepainting & Fairy and Gnome Tattoo parlor

–Magical music

–Fairytale storytimes

–Build your own fairy or gnome house at Annmarie!

PLUS, browse more than 50 booths in the Maker’s Market. Many of the vendors will be selling specialty items in honor the the festival!

WHAT’S ON THE MENU?
Dugue’s Catering – fried chicken, fried fish, shrimp po-boy sandwiches, hot sausage po-boy sandwiches, jambalaya bowls, french fries (w/creole seasoning), a variety of sweets and drinks.

Rotary Club of Prince Frederick – hot dogs, french fried, BBQ sandwiches, knockwurst, clam strips, popcord shrimp, variety of drinks.
