Do you remember last year’s inaugural half marathon in Waldorf, MD? Well, St. Charles has announced a new running event in for 2011! on April 16th, 2011, the same folks that put together last years 5k and half marathon will be offering a 5k and 10 miler race at the Blue Crabs Stadium.
The course is plotted, and it looks like it’s going to be a fast, flat run through Waldorf. The event kicks off at 8am for the 10 miler and 8:15 for the 5k. Registration is available on their website, it’s $55 for the 10 miler and $20 for the 5k run.
In addition, the Blue Crabs annual Fanfest will be on the same day, so it’s a great opportunity to bring the whole family out to visit the stadium! I’m planning on running the 5k again this year, and I hope to see you there!
