Attention Boaters!
The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary in Prince Frederick, MD has announced a 9 week boating safety class that is open to the public. If you own a boat, this class is a must-do. If you’re thinking about owning a boat, you should still probably be there!
A nine session class on boating safety and seamanship is being held on Mondays 7:00-9:00 PM beginning on 28 Feb and ending on 25 Apr. The classes will be covering Nomenclature, Safety, Equipment, Trailering, Handling, Rules of the Road, and Radio. A test is given at the 25 Apr session. A Maryland Department of Natural Resources Certificate of Boating Safety Education is issued on successful completion. Pre-Register by calling 410-535-2035 or 410-535-0450.
