The Edward T. Hall Aquatic Center is a true gem of Calvert County, MD. After 18 years of planning it opened in June of 2010, and it’s been a fantastic resource for the local community.
The Aquatic Center, built in Prince Frederick, MD, is 41,000 square feet of pools, hot tubs, exercise machines, party rooms and classes for local residents to take advantage of and enjoy. What makes this place so great is that it’s affordable, too! I have to admit that when I visited the location I was at once impressed and slightly jealous that I live so far from the center, limiting my access.
This place is a marvelous addition to the county, and with an admission price of only $6 ($475 gets you an annual pass for a family of 5), it’s very affordable. They also provide the option to rent their party room, with rates starting at $120 for 1.5 hours. You can check out their website and download the facility brochure at http://www.co.cal.md.us/residents/parks/events/hac/facility_overview/
