The Piney Point Lighthouse, Museum and Historic Park will host a miltary-themed holiday exhibit set up in the lighthouse keepers quarters the whole family will enjoy!
Visitors must check in at the museum to begin the tour which includes the holiday exhibit located on the south campus. Each room of the keeper’s quarters offers a display of military history from the Civil War to World War II and more! You won’t want to miss the Flying Santa story, a New England tradition!
The tour also includes a visit to the lighthouse and the Potomac River Maritime Exhibit. The museum offers interesting exhibits, visitor services and a children’s holiday activity. The museum store is brimming with lighthouse and nautical gifts and souvenirs! There is something for everyone on your gift giving list! No rush hour traffic here!
The museum has extended hours of 10am to 4 pm. Admission is $3 per adult, $2 for senior citizens and miltary, $1.50 for kids 6 to 18, and children 5 and under are FREE!
The museum is located at the end of Lighthouse Road in Piney Point, nine miles from Callaway and the entrance of Route 249.
